Brush Fire At Taylor Creek Road & Greenfield Road
Greenfield / Afton, VA
Around 3:30 PM Thursday afternoon area fire departments spent a couple of hours battling a brush fire at the intersection of Taylor Creek Road and Greenfield Road (635). Though nearby areas last week got 2-3 inches of rain, many areas did not leaving grassy areas very dry.
Fire crews had the blaze under control by 4:35 PM.
