With light precipitation moving into the area this afternoon, locations above 2000 feet continue to have temperatures at or just below the freezing mark. At 3500 feet from our reporting NCL-Wintergreen Nature Foundation station, the 1:30 PM EST temperature was 28.8Â°. We have reports of some exposed surfaces freezing and collecting ice. Roadways are in good shape at this time. Look for rain to increase and look for freezing rain at altitudes above 2000 feet to continues.
Temperatures will remain steady or slowly fall throughout the afternoon and early evening hours.
