* WHAT…Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches.

* WHERE…Northern Virginia Blue Ridge and Central Virginia Blue
Ridge.

* WHEN…From 6 PM Thursday to 3 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The heaviest snow is expected mid to late

* WHERE…Nelson, Albemarle and Orange Counties.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday evening commute.

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4
inches.

* WHERE…Alleghany VA and Rockbridge Counties.

* WHEN…From 1 PM Thursday to 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The
cold wind chills as low as zero could result in hypothermia if
precautions are not taken.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Northwest winds will gusts upwards of 30 to
35 mph along the ridges Friday morning which will result in
blowing snow and reduced visibilities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
