It’s been a long wait. Just after purchasing the old Sunflower Health Food Store in Nellysford, enter Covid. That put the brakes on opening of Black Bear Creamery, Nellysford’s newest ice cream shop. Though construction and improvements kept moving along, it wasn’t exactly an ideal time to open to the public.
On Saturday June 5th, BRL Junior Publishers Adam & Peyton stopped in for ice cream samples that were on display. Just a small part of the large selection that will be available once they are fully open.
The owners tell us they hope to have the new ice cream shop open by this coming 4th of July if everything proceeds normally between now and then.
Junior Publisher Adam Stafford absolutely approves one the ice cream samples he had this past Saturday at Black Bear Creamery.
