The plants that love humidity were happy campers this past Sunday at the Annual Pre-Mother’s Day Plant Sale in Afton. Other than a little muggy feeling the weather was perfect. The day is co-sponsored by Rockfish Valley Ruritans and The Nelson County Master Gardeners.

Just about any plant thinkable was on hand at the sale.

People manning the master gardeners booth were very busy all day long.

The annual event is held the Sunday before Mother’s Day each year.
