Thanks to Judy Serkes of Woods Mill for today’s photo! Monday was a pretty cloudy day until late in the afternoon, but very little rain actually fell during the daytime hours. Rainfall amounts around 1/2 inch fell before daylight but that was about it. Chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast for the balance of the week right into the weekend. Warmer temps move back in by mid-week.

Though rain will not be falling all of the time, we will be dealing with it for the foreseeable future in the extended outlook.

  1. Unsettled? Unsettled? No – Lindsay Lohan is unsettled. This is just plain getting old. Is the Ark still at the movie set in Crozet or do we need to build a new one?

  2. We agree John! Though it could be worse. I was talking to folks back in the mid-south where I once lived and they have had 5-8 inches of rain this week alone! Yikes!
