The weather is cooperating and it’s a great day to go out to the Rockfish Valley Ruritan Park to buy some plants at the Pre Mother’s Day Plant Sale. A beautiful blue sky with temps in the 60’s makes it a great day to check out all of plants there.
Here folks browse the plants set up at a booth by The Wintergreen Nature Foundation.
Henri Weems of Rodes Farm e-mailed us this morning and told us about the shoe planters at the sale:

Check out the next to the last booth on the left. A lady is growing plants
in old shoes. Is this a new useful form of Shoefiti?
Kinda of makes you wonder Henri!
The plant sale continued until 3PM Sunday afternoon
