The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of Virginia and southeast West Virginia, including the following areas, in Virginia, Alleghany VA, Amherst, Appomattox, Bath, Bedford, Botetourt, Buckingham, Campbell, and Rockbridge. In southeast West Virginia, Eastern Greenbrier and Western Greenbrier. * From noon EDT today through this evening * Very heavy rainfall rates and slow moving thunderstorms may produce flash flooding. * Excessive rain may cause streams and creeks to overflow their banks flooding nearby roads. Urban and poor drainage areas may be inundated with runoff leading to flooded roads and underpasses. Mudslides are possible in areas with steeper terrain. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
