Update : 7:58 PM : Units have cleared the scene and roadway now open.

Update : 7:23 PM : Personnel on the scene tell us, though one car caught on fire there does not appear to be serious injuries from any of the occupants from the vehicles involved in the crash. Crews getting ready to also open one lane of NB side.


Crews on the scene say despite one of the cars catching fire, everyone was able to walk away with what appears to be minor injuries.

Update : 6:55 PM : One lane of the SB side is open on the right hand side to allow traffic flow. Expect significant delays.

An auto accident involving a car fire has traffic stopped in both directions, according to motorists at the accident scene, along US 29 in Colleen near the Exxon Station. Motorists tell us it looks like the accident is near the old middle school.
