Nelson County, Virginia
Way up there around 3500 feet beauty is unfolding Friday morning after Thursday’s ice storm. We’ve been telling you about the damage that hit in our posts here and here. In spite of the extensive damage in the higher elevations and to the west of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the ice did make for some beautiful pictures on Friday morning. John Taylor sent us this photo from Devils Knob up at about 3500 feet.
Thankfully we dry out over the next several days and temperatures will moderate. Perfect weather to do some cleaning up!
