A cold front that moved through the area overnight Saturday into Sunday brought in some pretty cold air and windy conditions. It also brought in a reminder that winter is lurking out there in the not too distant future! A buddy of mine, Tod Hayes from Southeastern Virginia on the Chesapeake Bay is staying up at Wintergreen Resort this weekend on Devils Knob. That’s about 3500 feet up in elevation. He awoke up to find a little dusting of snow there. Nothing to get excited about, but a sure sign the seasons are changing for sure!
