Photos By Kat Turner : A group known as Walking The Line gathered last week in Nelson County to walk along the path of the propesed Atlantic Coast Pipeline. Here the group was hiking the route that would go over Roberts Mountain.

Sunday marked the official end of Walking The Line , a group that’s been walking the route of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline .
“Starting in Highland County, we will follow as close as possible to the proposed path for 140 miles (1st leg) – Through Bath, Augusta and Nelson Co, and into the heart of Virginia; Buckingham County – the site of the proposed toxin-emitting Compression Station,” their Facebook page states.
One of many great trees that is in the 125 foot path they would be clear cut along the ACP in Nelson County.
Volunteers on the Walking The Line hike point our where the 42 inch pipeline would come through in Nelson County, Virginia.

A second unsupported leg is planned to follow the proposed path on down to the VA-NC state line.
