Crews cleared the accident scene Tuesday morning where witnesses say a tractor trailer went over the bank along Route 29. “Tractor trailer over bank past Thompson trailer court,” James Shelton posted on our Facebook timeline Tuesday morning.
Officials with Lovingston Volunteer Fire and Rescue confirmed they are worked to help clear the scene.
Per @LovingstonVFD One lane of 29 SB at accident scene has been opened. VDOT now in charge of scene. Fire crews have cleared.

As of 8AM one lane of traffic was reportedly slowly moving, at times, but expect major delays until the entire scene is cleared.
