This and a small late weekend burst of will most likely be the last of significant snow for the season as much warmer weather takes a seat next week.

In what’s probably the last of the snow for the 2015-2016 season may begin falling late Thursday evening into the morning hours Friday. There’s still a lot our there to be determined on exactly where this system will put the most snowfall, but as of late Wednesday, the potential is there for enough snow in some locations that might disrupt travel early Friday morning. At least initially.

Regardless, it won’t be around long as temps will rise into the mid 40’s on Friday. There’s another chance for some light snow late in the weekend, then temps rise to around 70° several days next week. A major pattern change is coming and it doesn’t look like conditions will be favorable for much, if any, more snow this season.

Spring officially starts on March 20th at 12:30 AM.
