TUESDAY…

* PRECIPITATION TYPE…SNOW…POSSIBLY HEAVY AT TIMES.

* ACCUMULATIONS…2 TO 4 INCHES. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ON THE
RIDGES ABOVE 2000 FEET.

* TIMING…SNOW WILL OCCASIONALLY MIX WITH RAIN LATE THIS MORNING
AND THE EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS…LIKELY CHANGING ALL TO SNOW
LATER THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT BEFORE ENDING
TUESDAY MORNING. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TONIGHT. ALL SNOW
IS EXPECTED ALONG THE RIDGE TOPS TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES…MID TO UPPER 20S ALONG THE RIDGES ABOVE 2000
FEET TO THE LOWER 30S IN THE VALLEYS.

* WINDS…NORTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH…BECOMING NORTH TONIGHT INTO
TUESDAY AROUND 10 TO 15 MPH.

* IMPACTS…ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY WITH
VISIBILITIES BEING REDUCED TO NEAR ONE-QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.
THE COMBINATION OF SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LOW VISIBILITY WILL
MAKE TRAVELING DANGEROUS.

PARTICULARLY ACROSS THE HIGHER RIDGES. BANDS OF SNOW WILL MOVE
ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA THIS MORNING…FOLLOWED BY A LULL DURING
THE AFTERNOON…WITH UPSLOPE SNOW SHOWERS RETURNING THIS EVENING
AS WINDS SHIFT NORTHWESTERLY WITH THE DEPARTURE OF THE LOW FOR THE
