Central Virginia Blue Ridge
Some of the absolute coldest temperatures not seen for 20 years will arrive early next week, Monday night into Tuesday morning. As shown in the wunderground.com map above, readings of 0° to -5° below are likely in the flatlands of Central Virginia while temps of -10° are possible in the mountainous areas of the Blue Ridge in places like Montebello, Wintergreen, Big Meadows, and other areas along the BRP & Skyline Drive.

The recent bout of extremely cold temps (pardon the pun) are just a warmup for the real act to follow Monday night.
