Moderate rainfall didn’t stop a large crowd from turning out Thursday night in support of missing Nelson County teen, Alexis Murphy. The 17 year old Shipman, Virginia girl has been missing since the evening of August 3, 2013.

In spite of cloudy rainy skies over 200 people turned out at a Thursday night – August 8 2013 – candlelight vigil in support of missing Nelson County 17 year old girl Alexis Murphy.

Emotions ran high at Thursday’s vigil with at least two people fainting either from high humidity, exhaustion or simply from the stress of not know where missing Alexis Murphy is.
