Nelson: Search Continues For Missing Nelson Teen – Alexis Murphy – Updated 8.6.13 : 7:50 AM

Three separate law enforcement agencies continue in their search for missing Shipman, VA 17 year old, Alexis Murphy. BRLM broke the story in this report Monday afternoon. She’s not been seen since Saturday – August 3rd.

The Center For Missing & Exploited Children now has 17 year old Alexis Murphy of Nelson County listed as endangered. Click image for larger view.

Crews search the median along Route 29 just north of Lovingston near Eades Lane Monday afternoon – August 5, 2013.

No new details have been released as of an 8pm press conference held by lawmen on Monday night.

    I wonder why they aren’t asking for volunteers to help in the search. I would be willing. I will be praying for her safe return.

    I do not understand why they are using that photo to look for her. If you look on her Facebook she looks nothing like that now. Also it is EXTREMELY blurry and no help at all if you did not see her actual pictures on her Facebook!

    ^That is her Facebook. As far as the public can see she last posted on July 31.

    Sarah, these were initial pictures, it you check all future posts have updates photos as they became available. And we have no control over the photos used in bulletins put out by authorities and the missing center for children.
