With just a slight chill in the air, but plenty of full sunshine, the annual Nelson County Community Day was a huge success. The event is hosted by Giving Hope Foundation, Inc.

Pegasus gets ready to land – Visitors to NCD had the opportunity to see inside the helicopter and learn how it works and operates.

Sevearl bands performed throughout the day.  Doc Bortzer and fellow musician Mark started the day off at NCD.

All proceeds from this event benefitted the Giving Hope Foundation helping to support cancer patients in Nelson County.
