The annual Cop Camp was held this week at Nelson County Middle School in Lovingston. The camp, which is spread across three days, gives youngsters a chance to see and participate in what it’s like to be a law enforcement officer.
In addition to self defense, target practice, and other aspects of police work, students got a demonstration of what driving under the influence was like by using special DUI glasses.
