Nelson County, Virginia

We’ve been telling you about the heavy rains and rushing water in the eastern part of the county. Our NCL Mountain Photographer, Paul Purpura, was out this afternoon grabbing shots of the rushing water coming off of the mountain at Wintergreen.

This is near what Paul calls the water slide on route 664. It is the last place you can pull off before going up to Wintergreen.
Another shot of the water slide. You can almost hear the intensity of the rushing water.
This was taken from a runoff stream on the other side of Rt 664 near the water slide.
Taken from the bridge on Moses Hughes Lane.

Better days are ahead. Tommy’s Weather is calling for mostly sunny skies this weekend with temps in the 60’s! YES!
