Nelson County Sheriff, David Brooks, confirms Oscar Harris, a man that’s been missing and since last weekend was found Saturday night in Shipman. Harris was found dead, the result of an auto accident according to Sheriff Brooks. “The car was off of the road and hit a tree. It couldn’t be seen from the road. Deputies eventually noticed the car when looking for Harris late Saturday night. We think he had been there since early the 2nd or 3rd of January,” says Sheriff Brooks.

The sheriff went on to say there we no signs of foul play and all indication are Mr. Harris died from the auto crash.

The Nelson County Sheriff and deputies are on the lookout for Oscar Harris seen in the picture above. “Mr. Harris is wanted for unauthorized use of motor vehicle. The vehicle was taken on Jan. 3 from Lovingston Ridge Apartments. It’s a 1998 white Subaru Legacy with a gray stripe on the bottom. The license number is XKD7161,” says Nelson County Sheriff, David Brooks.

  1. This person “may” have been located late Saturday night. We have very rough, unconfirmed information that Harris may have been located in the Shipman area. Official have yet to return our requests for confirmation.
