Nelson County Life Magazine first broke the news to Central Virginia of the horrible shootings on the Blue Ridge Parkway April 5th. One of our 800+ NCL Facebook friends posted a tip to us.

The incident unfolded as the sun went down, eventually leaving one person dead and another badly wounded. Christina Floyd survived the entire ordeal and lived to tell her story to The Roanoke Times.
