Nelson County, Virginia
After this past weekend’s major flooding, most roads in Nelson County are now back open. Though some roads still may have washed out spots and debris. “South Powell Island Road is washed out, Mill Creek Road in Montebello is muddy and icy, and the North Fork Road in Tyro is still water covered,” said Nelson County Sheriff, David Brooks Wednesday morning.

In this post, we listed all of the previously affected roads, and though they may be technically passable, the sheriff and VDOT urge caution as it may be days before all roads are back in normal condition or repair.
