It’s finally here! The start of the 2009-2010 ski season in Nelson County, Virginia officially starts today. Wintergreen Resort opens some of its slopes Saturday morning at 9AM.
A 6-8″ snow several days ago, along with very cold temps in the mountains have set the stage for a good start to the season.
A soft opening was held Friday while crews checked everything out, but it’s off into the season today!
