I received the urgent email that Piglett (or Piggles as she is now known) was in a shelter and her time was up. She along with nine other beagles were to be gassed to death on October 31st. That’s when I said let’s save them and so began the big rescue as rescue workers as well as transporters decided to intervene. Many hands helped out to allow these beagles a chance to live and to know love and Piglett found safety, security and love on a farm with her friend Dillon another beagle from the rescue. However this is only a foster and Piglett needs a forever home…soon. This Thanksgiving season, in the spirit of gratitude, please open your hearts and if you’ve been considered adopting a dog, please think about this sweet, two-year-old, very loving beagle. If you cannot take a dog, think about donating your time or money to one of the many shelters working to show animals that this world does include love and compassion.

Piglett is approximately two-years old. She is a spayed female, heart-worm and Lyme negative. She has had all her shots. She is lovable and good with other dogs and children. She is shy of gunshot however and would definitely need a fenced in yard. Ideally she would live with one or two other dogs in the house, with a doggie door and a secured back yard. Please help her have a second chance at life and love. Call: 434-277-9163. Thank you for caring.
