The air felt more like baseball season Friday night as the Nelson County High Governors took on the Gretna Hawks. Our Paul Purpura was on the field to grab these shots of last night’s game. Paul tells us the Govs played a good first half with a tied score of 14-14, with Gretna dominating the second half. Gretna won the game 36-14. According to stats posted on the NCHS website this would be the 4th loss of the season with only one win thus far.
Next week the Govs take on the Dan River Wildcats away from home.
