Southern Cruisers Riders Club – Nelson Chapter holds organization meeting
The Nelson County Chapter of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club held an organizational meeting under new first officer Joe Davis, on Wednesday August 5.
The group is composed of local motorcycle enthusiasts that organize day rides for its members and guests that range in distance from 100 to 250 Miles.
At the meeting, the group planned upcoming rides for the month of August and September, decided to open a website to provide information to new and existing members and approved the design of a club patch.
Schedule of Rides:
August 15th: Lovingston to Leesburg, VA to attend a battle of the bands to benefit Louisiana wetlands. Depart 9 AM
August 16th: Lovingston to Peaks of Otter Lodge with return along BRP to Devil Backbone Brewery Company for a 2 PM meet and greet. Depart 9 AM
September 5th: Lovingston to Smith Mountain Lake for lunch then return. Depart 10 AM
September 20th: Lovingston to New Market to view covered bridge and other local attractions. Depart 10 AM
