It was a Saturday afternoon of music, fun, and reflection at The Dodd Cabin on Route 664 headed toward Wintergreen. The 2nd Annual Piney Mountain Music Festival was held over the weekend at the restored Dodd Cabin in Beech Grove. It’s part of a new tradition started back in 2008. Our Paul Purpura was there to grab these great shots. Thanks Paul!

The Mansfields in Beech Grove now own the cabin and recently restored it.

The Piney Mountain Boys, James River Cut-Ups and Skyline Country Cloggers were just a few of the bands on hand Saturday afternoon.

The Dodd Cabin is located at 3905 Beech Grove Road and is open many afternoons during the summer months. Look for the signs on Route 664 in Beech Grove as you head up the mountain toward Wintergreen Resort and The Blue Ridge Parkway.
