Nelson County, Virginia
With very hot afternoon temperatures in the lower and middle 90’s across the region, combined with dewpoints around 70°, the potential for some severe thunderstorms to develop is possible through the early evening hours.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued watch number 322 which now includes Nelson County, Virginia and points generally north and east. The watch is in effect until 8 PM local time this evening.
The possibility exists for additional severe weather on Wednesday into Thursday as well. We’ll have a complete wrap in Tommy’s Weather out later this evening.
