Nelson County, Virginia
With temperatures plummeting into the low and mid 30’s overnight, frost has been occurring in some locations across Nelson and Central Virginia. The National Weather Service continues its Frost Advisory for much of the area until 9AM this morning. Details down below. The weather greatly improves for the remainder of the week with sunny skies and warming temperatures right into the Memorial Day weekend.

UNSEASONABLY COOL CONDITIONS ACCOMPANY THE HIGH. AREAS OF FROST
CAN BE EXPECTED AS LOW TEMPERATURES DROP INTO THE MID 30S UNDER
CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS POSSIBLE. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR
PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.
