Nelson County, Virginia
After a Monday filled with rain and afternoon thunderstorms, Tuesday promises much of the same, but with a bit more sunshine. Most of Monday afternoon and evening was spent under a tornado watch, but here in the immediate Nelson area, nothing ever developed of any concern. On the average around 1.5 to 2.0″ of rain fell by midnight last night.
After sunny skies this morning, rain showers and possible thunderstorms continue today and tonight with a lingering shower Wednesday. Temps may cool enough Wednesday night for light frost across the area. Low & mid 80’s are in the forecast for the upcoming weekend.
