Before we get started, a big thank you to Ann Strober of the Nellysford area for this weekend’s weather photo. Ann recently switched to digital from film and her work shows that she’s having a great time with her new Nikon D-40! Thanks again Ann for sending along some terrific pictures like the one above.

This weekend looks continues to look very nice with seasonal temperatures right on to Monday. Rain is in the forecast by Monday night into Tuesday.

The current national forecast map shows fair skies today giving way to clouds and rain by Monday night.

Sunday Partly sunny with mostly cloudy skies from time to time, cool – Daytime highs generally upper 50’s to near 60° valley – on the mountains upper 40’s to near 50° – Overnight lows – upper 30’s valley & lower 30’s mountains.

By Monday Mostly sunny skies with high temps in the low & mid 60’s valley slightly cooler up above. Rain is in the forecast by Monday night into Tuesday. Snow is possible by Friday, more in Monday’s forecast.

    Wow! That is a fantastic photo…almost surrealistic by having clouds and fog captured on the same film. The greens and blues make the photo appear as a painting…awesome. Three Ridges never looked better!
