We got some really good news into NCL this afternoon. Remember that nasty wreck on 151 back on May 12, 2007
Mr. Campbell and Scruffy from Stoney Creek Pharmacy were in that accident. Ever since then Mr. Campbell has been recovering in Charlottesville.
Cheryl sent along this photo of the two from this past weekend. Scruffy even got to go visit over the weekend!
Here’s the message Cheryl sent along today with the picture.
MR CAMPBELL IS OUT OF ICU AND AT HEALTHSOUTH FOR REHAB
HE WAS ABLE TO VISIT WITH SCRUFFY SATURDAY
HE IS A TESTAMENT TO PRAYER AND FAITH
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS
Obviously Mr. Campbell has more recovery to go, but he’s come a long way. We’re cheering for you Mr. Campbell and we all can’t wait to see you back around Nellysford looking after Scruffy!
Updated Wednesday AM – 5.16.07
We spoke to Cheryl again Tuesday evening and she tells us Mr. Campbell is holding his own and doctors are very encouraged by his progress over the past 24 hours. Cheryl also tells us they’re keeping a get well card at the pharmacy for folks to drop by and sign for Mr. Campbell. They are taking a new card each day by the hospital. Stop by and sign it!
More updates as we get the information.
Previous update from 5.14.07
